Motorola's Shatter-Proof Display Smartphone Spotted Ahead of its Launch



Few days back, the Illinois-based handset maker Motorola has given the confirmation about the launch of Moto X Force, which is essentially the Droid Turbo 2 in the US. As per the sources, the company will be officially taking off the wraps of Moto X Force on 1 February 2016.

Anyhow, the Moto X Force has been spotted on the e-retailer Amazon India couple of days ahead of its launch event. Initially, this smartphone was released as Droid Turbo 2 in the US market last year2015, equipping a shatter-proof glass.

In this process, Motorola has added 5-layers which protect the gadget's screen from breaking or shattering. This 5 layers includes - Proprietary hard coat for exterior protection, a shield for protecting the interior lens, Dual touch layer for safeguarding touch sensitivity and touch screen, and an aluminum chassis.

Moving on to the specifications, the Moto X Force sports a 5.4-inch Quad HD AMOLED display with a resolution of 1440×2560 pixels with Moto Shattershield technology. This device is clocked at 2.0 GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 810 processor with Adreno 430 as GPU.

Talking about the storage, this gadget's is equipped with 3GB LPDDR4 RAM with 32GB/64GB ROM with an development choice  via microSD card up to 2TB. On the software front, this gadget is shipped with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, which can be upgradeable to Android 6.0 in future.


The imaging factor is backed by 21MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, 4K video recording and 5MP camera on the front, with wide angle lens. Meanwhile, the Moto X Force has connectivity options including 4G LTE / 3G, with MIMO, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, GPS, GLONASS, NFC. Above hardware is powered by a 3760mAh battery with Turbo-charging, PMA and Qi wireless charging technologies on board.
