Asus Live G500TG, the newest member to its ever expanding
smartphone lineup was launched today. Of course the Asus Live smartphone which
was launched exclusively in Brazil doesnot fall under its Zenfone category,
despite sharing the same specs as that of the Zenfone Go which was launched in
India previous year 2015.
Asus however has added some cosmetic touches to the Zenfone
Go including different colours around the frame to rechristen it as the Asus
Live. Moreover it comes with a Built-In TV highlight which is rather normal in
phones available in the Latin American nation.
The Asus Live G500TG sports a 5 inch HD 1280x720 IPS display
upfront and 2MP front camera. The front facing selfie snapper is by an 8MP which comes equipped with LED
Flash. To power the Asus Live is a 1.3 GHz quad core Mediatek 6580 SoC with
Mali 400 MP2 GPU. This is clubbed with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of on board
storage. Asus is also providing a slot for memory expansion via Micro SD card
upto 64 GB. Furthermore the budget smartphone comes with a 2070 mAH battery on
the inside.
The Asus Live comes in Black, Blue, Pink & Yellow
colours variants and the priced at 849 Brazil Real Rs 14,200 approx. This is
uniquely higher than the price of the Zenfone Go which retails in India at Rs
7,289.
