Lenovo's Vibe S1 Lite Edition Comes with 8MP Selfie Snapper instead of Dual Front Camera


Ahead of CES 2016, the China-based handset producer Lenovo has reported the lighter version of selfie-centric smartphone dubbed as Vibe S1 Lite. At first, the company has unveiled the Vibe S1 with double front cameras back at IFA 2015 in September. On the other hand, the Vibe S1 Lite doesn't come with the double front camera, it is employed with 8MP camera with Sony sensor and soft LED flash to avoid low light issues. 

Moving on to the specifications, this Vibe S1 Lite flaunts a 5 inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The hardware department is fitted with Octa-Core MediaTek MT 6753 processor clocking at 1.3GHz along with Mali-T720 GPU under the board. On the capacity division, this lighter version comes with 2GB RAM, 16GB ROM with an expandable option by means of microSD card slot. This selfie-centric camera comes dispatched with Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box along with Hybrid double SIM slots.

Going to the imaging department, the so-called Vibe S1 Lite sports a 13MP rear camera with double -tone LED Flash, 8MP front camera with Sony sensor, LED flash. It measures 8.55 mm thickness and weighs around 129 grams. Further, the connectivity options include 4G LTE / 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, 3.5 mm audio jack, FM Radio. The above equipment is powered by a 2700 mAh battery under the board. The Lenovo Vibe S1 Lite comes in Matte White & Blue variations and will be available at a price of $199 approx Rs. 13250 from early 2016.
